The remaining films to be shown are Revenge on Wednesday, The Wallet on Thursday, Rothschild's Violin on For Your . . mi WOM en In Revenge, a jealous husband goes to a gunsmith to buy a revolver to kill his wife's lover. As the gunsmith eloquently touts the murderous capabilities of a Smith and Wesson revolver, and muses on the shooting of lovers, the husband has time to reflect that while he might be spending time in prison for murder, his wife would be free to marry. All films, including Revenge, are taken from the short stories of Russian writer E Anton Chekhov. The films are free. Violin maker place to be for. FOCUS ON Friday. Info Ski Solitude's Everybody's Day Friends of the Salt Lake City Public Library, 209 E. 5th South, are presenting a Foreign Film Festival featuring the work of Luis Bunuel. The festival will be held in the Lecture Hall of the Main Library on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. this Thursday through February 23. The films to be shown during the festival are Un Chien Andalou and Los Olividados on Thursday; El on Janauary 26; Nazarin on February 2; Viridiana on February 9; The Exterminating Angel on February 16 and Belle De Jour on February 23. The money raised through the sale of tickets for the festival will be used to support the Reading is FUNdamental program and for other activities that support the city library system. Tickets for the series are $7.50, and $1.50 if brought for an individual film on the day of the showing. For additional information, call the Main Library at 363-573- 3. The movie Little Dog Lost will be shown Saturday at 2 p.m. during the Salt Lake City Public Library's Story Time and Read Aloud. Little Dog Lost is a story of Candy, a Welsh dog, who gets lost in the wilderness. The movie is 48 minutes long and will be shown in the Lecture Hall of the Main Library.
