VISIT IN OGDEN Mrs. Herman Lott and son, George and daughter, Janice, accompanied by her daughters Mrs. Monty Seager of Tremon-toand Mrs. Floyd Eggli and children Carl and Carrie Jean of Bothwell spent a day visiting with relatives in Ogden. Sutherland spent Thursday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Art Cottle and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sutherland and family in Ogden and with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ferrell in Brigham. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy have visited several times during the week with Dale Udy who is receiving medical care at the Dee Hospital in Ogden. The debate pitted Bear River against Bonneville and was held at Bear River. Bears proved their skill by ending with a 13-- victory. Another meet was held Tuesday, Nov. 23 with Davis, also at Bear River which consisted of 4 rounds of debate. NFL president, Kent Redfield, and secretary, Meta Petersen, 6 have scheduled a full lineup of meets throughout the season. Some of these are debates with schools in Region l'.and finally the Alpine and NFL1 meets. Pays Dividend Atlas Management Company, a Nevada corporation, has announced the declaration of a Vi stock dividend on its common stock, payable to its stockholders December 15, according to Rex Laub, President. D. Harris and Rex Richards. They were joined by their wives in the evening for a banquet. e Sunday, Nov. 28 in honor of his 80th birthday. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the family home in East Bear River between the hours of two and five in the afternoon. Mr. Jensen was born in Mantua Nov. 30, 1885, a son of Mads Peter and Christina Hansen Jensen. He was reared in Bennington, Ida., and married Janet Speirs Dec. 23, 1908 in the Logan Temple. They moved to Bear River in 1912, where he has been active in church and community affairs. He has been a counselor in the ward bishopric under two bishops, has been a teacher in the various auxiliary organizations and a high priest group leader. He filled a mission in California, leaving his wife with four children when he received the call. He has also been a member of the Box Elder Stake High Council. He is still active on his dairy farm, and church work. The Jensens are parents of three sons and two daughters, all of whom are living.
