Mr. Ault has just returned from South Viet Nam where he was assigned as a helicopter pilot with the 120th Aviation Co. Air Mobile Light, in support of counter insurgency operations for the U.S. and South Viet Namese governments. During his tour he flew 1034 Mrs. Val Leavitt has received word that her brother, Rusty Musselman of Bluff has been appointed Sheriff of San Juan County and along with his family will now make their home at Monticello. ATTEND FUNERAL SERVICES Attending funeral services for Ross Godfrey at Soda Springs, Ida., Thursday were Mrs. Flo Munson and Mrs. Helen Mason. Mr. Godfrey was Mrs. Munson's nephew. Spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Simmons last week in Salt Lake City were Mrs. Ernest Anger who was accompanied by her daughter. Wilford Miller took his brother, Morgan and wife to Ogden Sunday morning wlere Morgan was admitted to the Dee hospital. He underwent surgery Wednesday and is reported to be progressing satisfactorily. Mrs. Miller is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Priece. Miss Renee Anderson of Salt Lake City was at home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Richard McCardel and children of Layton were also guests at the Earl Anderson home Sunday. Miss Glenna Dawn Smith of U S U, Logan spent the weekend at home. Al Smith and sons, Max and Rex, William Petersen and son, Mike, and Vern Roche and son, Barry spent Saturday hunting at Park the Valley. RETURNS HOME FROM CALIFORNIA Mrs. Leonard Petersen returned home Tuesday after a ten day vacation in California. She accompanied Mrs. Dee 'Elizabeth Petersen and three to join their husband and father who is teaching school at Tracy. While there Mrs. Petersen accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Dee Petersen and sons to Oakland where they took a guided tour of the Oakland Temple grounds, and called at the home of Mrs. Mary Herwick. They spent the evening in Valejo with her brother, Stacy Howard and family. On returning to Utah she spent a few hours in Salt Lake City with her daughter, Mrs. Roxie Butler, before returning home Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Johnson visited Sunday at the Orsen Jensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Keath Adams of Layton visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wood. Earnings for the first nine months of 1965 were $3,957,657 compared with earnings for the first nine months of 1964 of $3,937,672, the report said. For the 12 months ended September 30, 1965, earnings were $5,720,-50- 6 compared with $5,568,742 for the same period a year ago, the report said. (Earnings per share for both the first nine months of 1965 and the 12 months ended September 30, 1935, were lower than for the comparable periods a year ago because of a 10 percent increase in the number of shares of outstanding stock made June 23, 1964. by a rights offering to shareholders. Gas deliveries during the 12 months ended September 30, 19G5, amounted to approximately 117 billion cubic feet compared with approximately 110 billion cubic feet for the same period a year ago, the report said. "All of the increase and more is attributable to greater industrial sales which occurred because of increased industrial activity without major work stoppages," said M. M. Fidlar, president, who signed the report. He noted that residential sales had declined, despite an increase of about 7,4000 customers, because this year's weather was slightly warmer than normal whereas last year's was much colder than normal.
