Kansas Juniors from 31 states were enthusiastic in their aims to promote and improve the Hereford breed. Their organization, the first of its kind in the purebred livestock industry, represents some 6,000 junior members - breeders of Herefords. Ths meeting was held at the American Hereford Association headquarters. The President of the Junior organization is Lawrence Kuhlmann, North Platte, Nebraska. FAMILY MEETS IN OREGON The family of Josephine P. Nelson enjoyed a reunion at Nyssa. Ore., over the weekend. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Emery L. Nelson of Tremon-ton- , Darven C. Nelson of Brig-haCity, Mr. and Mrs. George Hewitt of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clough of Sandy. They stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Devere Nelson. They all enjoyed a social outing Saturday evening then returned to I 'tali Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fronk ami family were in Layton Sunday visiting with relatives They were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harris and also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Harris.
