Show T The Leader Thursday, July CONTRACTORS NOTICE Sealed bids will be received Jby the Board of Education, Box Elder County School District for the construction of the Bear River High School Auditorium, at Tremonton, Utah, located until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 1965. Construction to be all under the General Contract. Bids will be in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Paul K. Evans, A.I.A. Architect, 515 Salt Lake City, Broadway, Utah, and same may be obtained from the office of the architect upon receipt of $50.00 deposit for one set, made payable to Paul K. Evans. Deposit will be refunded upon return of such plans and speciin good condition, fications, within ten days of the date set for the bid opening. A second set may be obtained on the above basis except that $15.00 will be retained by the architect for cost of printing such set if returned in good condition. Copies of the plans and specifications will be on fife in the TO East office of the Clerk, Box Elder County School District, in the Court House building, Brigham City, Utah, and are open for public inspection. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that he have a file with the architect, completed and approved, the required prequalification statement pertaining to contractor's experience and financial condition. Bids will be received "at the office of the Clerk, Box Elder County School District, County Court House, Brigham City, Utah, until 8:00 P.M.. Wednesday, August 18, 1965, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time will be returned to the bidder unopened. A statement from a company approved by the board and architect that it will furnish the required Performance-Labo- r and Material Payment Bond made out on A.I.A. form to cover performance of the contract, shall be enclosed with the bid and certified check, bid bond or cashier's check. A certified check, bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of five per cent of the bid made payable to the Board of Education, Box Elder County School District shall accompany bid. The Board of Education, Box Elder County School District, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the said Box Elder County School District. Mina Ward spent the first of the week in Ogden with, her daughter, Rayola Walker, in her son and Kaysville-wit- h family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ward and in Salt Lake City with another son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Smith Ward. Davis Mr. and Mrs. Jesse spent the latter part of the week in Ogden. LaVoy Udy took a bus load to the Ogden of parade Saturday, so the family attended the parade. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Udy and son, Dennis, of Bountiful spent Saturday and Sunday with the LaVoy Udys and visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Udy. Visit At Bear Lake Mrs. Thola Ogden and son, Scott, of Salt Lake City visited the Deloss Jensens and they all went to Bear Lake where they met Mr. and Mrs. Mike Tuckett of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Monte Ogden of Logan. The Ogdens went back to Salt Lake City Sunday. Grace Allen is receiving medical care at the Dee Hospital in Ogden. The family reports she is some improved. Mr. and Mrs. Jr. Cothren and children of Salt Lake City spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Udy. Mrs. Allen In Hospital Bishop and Mrs. Howard Capener accompanied John Allen to Ogden Sunday, where they visited Mrs. Allen in the hospital. There have been many other family members also, down there during the week. Mrs. Eva Zundel, Ogden, and Mrs. Genevieve Jensen, Brigham, visited the Wm. Silvesters Thursday and then they all went to Plymouth to visit their mother, Jane Hess and sister, Jane Udy.
