Mrs. Wayne Fryer Heads Cancer Committee CHARLES PETERSON Mrs. Wayne Fryer has been made chairman for the Cancer drive in this community and has chosen for her committee Mrs. James Barnard, Mrs. Vernon Bunderson, Mrs. Horace Gardner, Mrs. Floyd Gardner and Mrs. Winford Barrus. Mrs. Harold Denzler and son Scott of Richand, Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Levon Hendricks of Boise, Idaho have been visiting in Utah with members of their family and have been guests at the home of their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Marble Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Olsen and their four daughters of Or- em were Saturday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Barnard. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Sorenson and small son of Preston, Idaho were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fryer. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gardner and family visited Sunday in Ogden with Mrs. Kermit Hansen. They also visited during the afternoon with an uncle, Lee Stoddard at Hooper. GLENN JENSEN IN OGDEN HOSPITAL M!r. and Mrs. Chris Jensen have spent a great deal of time in Ogden with their son Glen Jensen, who is seriously ill at the Dee hospital. It is reported that his condition is improved at the present time. Mr. and Mrs. James Barnard and family were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Barrett in Mendon. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Warnke visited Sunday with daughter, Mrs Carol Hall, who is receiving medical treatment at the Hill Air Base hospital. -- Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Madsen enjoyed a very nice vacation trip at Moses Lake, Washington, then at Portland, Oregon; they then returned home through San Francisco and the Redwoods. Marcia Stohl has been a guest at the home of her grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Hun saker. while her parents have been vacationing at Las Vegas, Nevada. and daughter spent Sunday at Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bouwhuis Ogden where they were guests their On Sunday the family of Mrs. Charles Peterson met at her home to honor her on her birthday. Mx. and Mrs. Lyndon Barkle were guests baturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kelly of Providence. The group attend ed a Lions party during the ev ening. Mrs. Wayne Norr, Mrs. Oleen Watt and Mrs. Minnie Potter of Tremonton were in Ogden Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Hassell and Carol spent the weekend in Salt Lake City where they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sudbury. Mrs. M. G. Perry visited the past week at Petersboro with her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fryer and children were in Ogden Saturday where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Salvo and family. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Warnke, Barbara and Billy, Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Talbot in Ogden. The Friendly Circle club members were guests at the home of Roma Perry on Thursday evening. Elsie Heusser and Aileen Fryer assisted as for the evening. Club members presented the program which consisted of a vocal trio by Vonda Whitaker, Gladys Norr and Aileen Fryer; accordion selections by Wilda Brower, and a book review of Martha Martin's "Oh Rugged Land of Gold" was given by Margaret Perry. Luncheon was served by the hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. N. Peter Marble attended a family birthday dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kerr in Tremonton. Family members to be honored were Mrs. Kerr, Mrs. Henry Nielson of Brigham City and Mrs. N. Peter Marble. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Jones were dinner guests Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Norr. Mrs. T. R. Ault was a weekend guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duett Loveland in Brigham City. On Saturday evening she was guest at a party given by the Loovelands for Mr. and Mrs. Ted Richardson, who are leaving soon to make their home in California.
