Show Miss Box Elder To Be Lnosen Four outstanding Utah artists, stylists and musicians will act as judges of the Miss Box Elder pageant Friday at 8 p. m. at the Intermountain Indian school auditorium according to Perce Petersen and Verl Peter-pe- n. Five of the fifteen entrees are from Northern Box Elder coun-ft- y and will vie. In the contest lor the coveted Miss Box Elder crown, $150 wardrobe that goes with it and the honor of participating In the Miss Utah pageant at the state fair In . September. The Judges Include Everett Thorpe, noted professor of art at the Utah State Agricultural -colleger Virginia Howard, director; of the Miss Utah pageant; Glen L. Hansen, music director at Weber college and Mrs. Grace L. Jones, fashion and style coordinator of Co., in Salt Lake City. The contestants will have, a full day of judging which Will begin at noon and be climaxed with the talent show open to trie public that evening. Funeral Services for Martha Furgus Peterson, who died in Portland, Oregon of a heart ailment were comducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Snowville Ward Chapel. Bishop Don A. Hickman officiated.
