The occasion for the reunion is the 68th birthday of Mr. Hansen, which occurs July 27th. The Open House will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Amos Iverson Sunday afternoon between 2:30 and 5:30 pjm. Mr. Hansen was born in Denmark July 27, 1863. Hei came to the United States! when about twenty years of age, and settled in Bear River City. A little later he took up a homestead on the Malad river, where his present home is located, four miles north of Bear River City. He married Lena Larsen, and' they were the parents of three children, two of whom died. The other, Mrs. Edel McNeil now lives in Salt Lake City. After the death of his first wife Mr. Hansen married Bertha Johnson, August 24, 1904 in the Bait Lake Temple. To them were born nine sons and daughters, eight of whom are still living. They are Mrs. Amos Iversen, (Thetana) , Mrs. Moroni ward, Aleen) , Mrs. Vess Rooin-d- y (Mae), Fred W. Hansen and Raymond Hansen all of Marvin Hansen, Ogden, Harry Hansen, Buhl, Idaho and Mrs. Frank 'Hall (Norma), of Huntington. He also has 34 grandchildren and four great, Grandchildren.
