LOGAN, Utah, Jan. l.- -A thrill of horror went through this town this even ing when it was announced that a woman the Palace hotel had committed suicide. at m The suicide was Mrs. G. E. Green, w hose husband is a dentist and connected with the Utah Dental company, having offices on Main street , this city. The details are as follows: .'.HfsagiGbmenfriuul occurred between Mrs. Green and her husband . This led to words, w hich threw Mrs. Green into a pasm of anger. In the midst of her i nssion she turned from her husband and entered the adjoining room. When there and in full view of her husband, she lifted a small vial to her mouth and just as she swallowed the contents she said: "Good bye," drinking at the same time a glass of water. Dr. Green rushed to her side and is said to have knocked the bottle from her hand, but it was too late; the vial was empty, the woman having sallowed a qnanity of powdered strychnine w hich w as immediately absored. On discovering what was done Dr. Green instantly called up Dr. Parkinson, who was only a short distance away. When he came, however, il was too late, the woman already being in convulsions.
