This being the 50th year we ' recalled some memories. It has been a very pleasant experience over the years of variety programs. The membership still remains at twelve but twenty four or more of the charming members have left the club for various reasons. We were so delighted to have a member with us who was one of the original founders of the club, Mrs. Arvilla Swindlehurst. One of our most memorable programs we can recall was when each of us took up the history of our parents. There were various good books that were reviewed. Various ones came to the club and gave us travelogues of their trips, overseas as well as here in America and other nice programs. Then there were the Christmas parties and summer parties with our husbands. We had a trip to Frisco which we were so fortunate to have a member, Alta Hickman, whose parents had a store there in the early boom days of Frisco, who went along to help us know the area better. We came back to Milford to have our lunch on the tables in the park which we will never forget, and well remember. How that wind did blow. And that is what life is made up of, memories. Mrs. Vilda Esplin was a special guest and a most delightful luncheon was served.
