A large group of friends and relatives gathered in the evening at a reception, given in their tionor at the Garland ward hall. In the receiving line were the newlyweds, their parents and the bride's attendants, Bonnie Kay Hansen, Rita J. Christensen, Phyllis B. Holmgren and ReNae Firth and the groom's best man, Del Holmgren. The bride was lovely in a gown of traditional white satin, fashioned with a deep lace trimmed yoke. Her veil of bride's illusion was caught to a beaded tiara and she carried an orchid bouquet cascaded with feathered pink carnations. During the reception three musical numbers were given by "Hita Christensen, Mary and Kay Gaddie and Dan Nelson. Del Holmgren acted as master of Dwain Lower and Sunday dinner daughter, Sandra, of Ogden were Mrs. J, G. Burge monton. She became the bride of Clayton Ruddell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Ruddell of Brigham City on Saturday, at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Officiating at the wedding was Bishop Lewis Wight. A reception was held that evening at the Fifth ward amusement hall in Brigham City. The couple plan to make a home in Brigham City.
