The Singing Mothers furnished special musical numbers and Mrs. Helen Hansen sang a solo. Next Sunday is Relief Society conference. Mr and Mrs. Dwayne Romer aie rejoicing over the safe arrival of their first daughter on October 28 at the Cooley hospital in Brigham City. Mrs. Romer was formerly Miss Mabel Horsley of Brigham City. Mr. Hansen likes to go back to enjoy Mother Nature in her various moods and colors in the hills. We hope his health will always be so he can enjoy this pleasure. The Hallowe'en party given by the joint M. I. A. was well attended Tuesday evening. Games were played and enjoyed by young and old together. Refreshments were served and all had a good time over "Madame Fortune Teller's," fortunes. The Mutual is to he commended for the high type of recreation they give the young people of the ward. Nine of the eleven Relief Society officers and class teachera met at the home of Mrs. Merle Larson on Thursday evening for their monthly business meeting, after which refreshments were served by the hostess and a social chat finished a pleasant evening. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shaffer are announcing the arrival of a baby girl, which was born Tuesday morning in a Logan hospital. Mrs. R. J. Potter left Tuesday morning for Hanover, California to visit with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Larson spent two days in Logan canyon this week where they especially enjoyed riding horses over the trails and to the mountain tops. Mr. and Mrs. Z. C. Salin, of Salt Lake City, called on the Eph Petersen Sunday. The Calins are cousins of Mrs. Petersen. E. S. Hansen, of Logan, visited with his children here last week end. Many ward people attended the special Memorial services for Box OSEY JENSON for County Commissioner because we believe him to have the ability to do public service due to his background and training.
