Mr. and Mrs. Engvar Petersen were visited Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Morris Highfield of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Miller and children visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and a daughter, Dixie Sue, of Promontory, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Miller Saturday. Mrs. Miller returned with them to their home to visit for a few days. Mrs. Geniel Butler and Miss Leone Miller are staying at the home of their sister, Mrs. Lucille Johnseen in Salt Lake. Orsen Jensen received medical attention at the Valley hospital Sunday and Monday. We wish him a speedy recovery from his illness. Miss Joan Jensen is visiting in Ogden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Spires. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Fredrickson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Call and family visited Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Fredrickson. Mrs. Call remained over night to care for her mother, who is vey ill. Mrs. Gladys Hansen of Garland visited her mother Monday. Mrs. Fredrickson has the sincere wishes of her many friends that her health will rapidly improve. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Petersen and family enjoyed a fishing trip to East Canyon Friday. Mr. Pet Paze Five ersen returned with his limit of trout. The friends of Oleta Miller are happy to learn that she has recovered from a recent operation and was able to return to her work at the county office in Brig-haMonday. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs, Orsen Jensen attended the funeral of Lonzo Johnson at Brigham, Monday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Preston Petersen, and Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Smith enjoyed an evening at the Crystal Springs, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Miller, Mrs. Barfuss and Mrs. Ersol Berchtold visited in Brigham, Monday. Miss Reta Grover and Miss Ann Miller of Tremonton spent last week in Ogden Canyon visiting with Miss Grovel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Grover. Miss Grover is living here with her sister, Mrs. Ersol Berchtold. Mr. nd Mrs. Bill Cramer and family, of Corinne, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ersol Berchtold and family. Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Shuman visited in Corinne Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Raider. Mr. Raider is leaving to join the U. S. Armed forces. Mrs. Sarah Shuman spent a few days last week visiting in Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen who brought her home Sunday and visited with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Petersen and Mrs. Fred W. Petersen spent two days last week fishing in East Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leak were visited Tuesday by Mr. and Mrs. Rhyman Petersen, Don Petersen returned home with his parents, after having spent a week at the Leak home. Mrs. Carl Nelsen and son, Sgt. Emery Nelsen, visited in Willard Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hewlett. Nurse Cadet Marjorie Miller spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Viirgil Pierce and family, of Brigham, visited Friday with Bishop and Mrs. Jesse F. Petersen. Miss Carma Miller wishes to thank all her friends for visiting her end for bringing her so many beautiful flowers while she has been recuperating for an injury received from a nail in her foot. Very interesting talks were given at meeting Sunday evening by Miss Perry of Willard and Scott Petersen to commemorate" the martydom of Joseph Smith, and by Mrs. Anne Perkins of Blanding who gave an account of a trip to the 'Hole in the Rock." Miss Perry is the daughter of Bishop Perry of Willard and was visiting in Penrose at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W.
