G. Perry, chairman of the county AAA committee, today. The deadline is Friday, February 28, after which date the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation will not accept crop insurance applications. "Crop insurance is for every wheat grower," says Mr. Perry, who pointed out that the premium rate on insurance merely represents an annual installment payment per acre toward the cost of crop loss. Over a representative period these payments will balance the losses on the insured farm. The premium rate is based on the actual or appraised loss experience of the farm over a representative period (14 to 21 yeurs) blended with the loss experience for the county in which the farm is located. Premiums may be paid (1) with actual wheat, by giving the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation a warehouse receipt representing the amount of the premium; (2) by paying cash equivalent of the premium to the corporation; or (3) by executing an advance against future payments to be Tuesday, Mar.
