Searchlight) The Bear River Bears are preparof ing to give the Ogden Tigers one this had have the hardest fights they season. They have evidently been under estimated in their ability as basketball players, for they gave Weber a trouncing they won't forget for some time, but Weber lan rough-tro- d over South Cache, who trimmed Bear River, and gave Ogden a real scrap. So the Bears have a chance of tipping the confident Tigers off their perch. For some reason. Bear River, always gives Ogden a real battle, only to bow to weaker opponents. More and better spirit is shown for some reason, and more interesting results are given. Although the Bears are not confident, they feel that they have what it takes to defeat Ogden. Bear River seems to have her good years, while Ogden seems to alwaj'3 have a powerful athletic department. One reason is that they have more material to pick from, but the Bears offer no alibis. They are going to real ly rip into those Tigers. Coach Sheffield stated that if B. R. doesn't trim them, they'll sure put up a colorful battle. Hostesses being the Misses Pedersons, Mrs. Steve DeJarnett, Miss Rhoda Knudson, and Miss Kunz.
