According to Mr. Holmgren, the checks will amount to approximately $70,000 and when distributed will make a grand total of approximately $700,000.00 that has been distributed to the wheat growers of Box Elder county under the AAA program. Coming at a time when farmers were heavily mortgaged " and the greater part of the payments delinquent, these wheat benefit payments became a lifesaver to the farmers and a stimulus to business. The last $70,000, which is now be- ing distributed will add much to the Merry Christmas spirit of those re ceiving them and will add an extra stimulus to business in this community.
