Ward returned from Logan the latter part of the week accompanied by her daughter, Edna Mae. Leon Hales went to Salt Lake Monday to remain for a few days. Veryl Henry and Jesse Dewey were the visiting speakers at the Sunday evening meeting. The Plymouth Harmony Boys gave a pleasing entertainment here Wednesday evening. A large number of people from here attended the funeral of Lucille Haws of Plymouth, Monday. Miss Beth Macfarlane has gone to Salt Lake to remain for a few weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Welling. Edna Mae Ward returned to Logan Sunday after a few days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Dustin and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Nielson went to Wednesday. The Nielsons expect to make their home in Hyrum after spending the winter here. Irene Ward spent the week end at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Muriel Elcock and two daugh ters of Salt Lake City, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward las tweek. Ford and Phyllis Richards who are attending the U. S. A .C, spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Richards. Mr. and Mrs. Delos Jensen and daughters, Thola and Mary, went to Delta Saturday to attend the funeral of a relative. While away the Jensens visited with relatives and friends in Eureka and Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hunsaker and children of Elwood, spent the week end at the horn eof Mrs. Nina Dustin Bishop Russell Capener received a fractured leg Monday evening when his horse fell with him. The Bishop was on his way to the cemetery late Monday evening to place a canvas over the open grave of Mr. Lefler. Because of the storm and the extreme darkness his horse slipped and fell with the above result. He is now at his home here and recovering nicely. Welling was hostess to the members of the Clio Club Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Justensen of Magna, spent the early part of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grover. The leading social event of last week was thy Relief Society anniversary party held Friday evening. Two hundred people were present. Supper was served which was followed by the pageant "Come Come Ye Saints." Dancing concluded the evening. Mrs. John Smith and children in Los Anveles, Calif, turned Wednesday after spending the Mrs. Charlotte Hodges of Garden City, is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Packer. Bill Weiland returned Saturday after spending the past month in Los Angeles, Calif. w Mrs. Ross Rhodes and children are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Nielson, of Portage. Friday, March 17th, Mesdames Sophia Larson and L. M. Holman, were hostesses to the Relief Society ladies at the home of Mrs. Holman. Mrs. Essie Petersen gave a talk on home gardening and home beautification. A social time followed. Mesdames Rose Korth and Essie Petersen gave humorous readings and the Adams sisters pleased in the rendition of two vocal trios. There were thirty, including six special guests who enjoyed the pleasant afternoon and dainty refreshments served by the hostess. Under the direction of Mrs. Orval Grover the cast for the M. I.
