Oluf Johnson was a business visitor in Brigham City, Monday. Odel Thompson and Max Beal attended the football game in Provo, Saturday. They also visited friends in Logan and returned home Sunday afternoon. John Benson and sons, Stanley and Arch, were Salt Lake City visitors, Saturday. Mrs. Emily Grover who has been visiting the past week at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Nellie Pierce, left Sunday night for her home in Portland, Oregon. Mrs. Frank R. Slight of Salt Lake City, spent the week end at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Nellie Pierce. Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Manning, Mrs. Dean Hall and Mrs. Victor 3. Botf attended the funeral services for Mrs. Merlin Mannnig held at Farmington, Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. David E. Manning spent a few days of last week visiting relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ursel Rose spent Thursday at the home of Mrs. Frank Burns in Brigham City. DING !' The entertainment committee was in charge and "Keno" was played. Luncheon was served, .Mrs. ,W. J. Garn entertained the Clio Circle Club, Thursday afternoon. Bridge was played, Mrs. Louise Cash winning first prize and Mrs. Basil Nish consolation. Luncheon was served to twelve. The mutual members who took part in the road show are pleased with their success in winning second place. Mrs. Anna Gilbert spent the week end in Ogden. ' Mrs. Owen Archibald was the honor guest at a dinner given by MHrs. Wesley Garn, Thursday. Eight friends were invited to spend the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cannon mov ed to Clarkston, Saturday, where they will spent the winter months. Saturday evening when Mrs. Mar vin Welling, who is employed at the Sugar Co., offices in Garland, and Miss Blanche Wood, who is employed in Tremonton, were coming home from their work, ran into a horse near the home of Homer Bourne on the highway, near Fielding. Their car was badly damaged, the front being crushed and the wind shield broken. The horse had to be killed immediately.
