Mason, son of Jesse Mason of this place now, residing in Ogden who buried his wife two weeks ago, was again called to pass through a similar ordeal once more when his 44 year old daughter, Arleane, passed away Friday morning at the L. D. S. hosptial, where she had been for two weeks suffering from heart trouble. Impressive funeral services were held in the Plymouth ward chapel. Sunday afternoon with Bishop K. T. Nish presiding. The ward choir furnished the singng wth specal nunv bens as follows, "What Voice Salutes the Startled Ear", by members of the choir; a violin solo by Mrs. Arthur Burnett with rem Willy, as accompanist and a song by Melvin Atekin-so- Utah, June 12. With every indication that travel to the Southern Utah parks will more than double the best previous record, established in 1929, the season of 1930 was officially opened on Decoration Day. On May 31 a total of 14,016 pre season visitors had entered Zion Nat- ional Park compared to 6,489 last year an increase of 7,527 or 123. Visitors have already been registered from every state in the Union, District of Columbia, and several foreign countries. The feature of the 1930 season will be the dedication, on July 4, of the stupendous road project known as the Zion-M- t. Carmel Highway. The speakers were Ira Baker, of of Holbrook, Idaho, Mrs. Cloe Gam Salt Lake City, Arthur Burnett of Holbrook, Idaho, Olean Josephson, Boys second counselor in the Plymouth Goes ward bishopric, and Bishop R.
