Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Nessen and daughters visited at Logan Sunday. W. E. Getz was attending to business matters in Salt Lake City Saturday. Mr: and Mrs. Arthur Wilson and daughter Lois were Ogden visitors Monday. Frank Hill of Ogden was a recent visitor with his brothers. Murray and Lloyd Hill. Chas. McClure crd sons Dallas and James of Salt Lake City spent the week-en- d in Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. George Price and sons spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Merle Sanders of Ogden. Mrs. V. W. Wadsworth was called to Ogden last Wednesday bv the serious illness of her father. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Drew, Mrs. Carrie Drew and daughter, Miss Bessie, were in Ogden Monday. Harry Morris of Boulder, Colo., arrived here Thursday, called by the death of his mother, Mrs. J. A. Mor ns. Mrs. Mattie Hull of Denver arrived here Monday to be with her mother, Mrs. J. A. Morris, who passed away Tuesday. W. H. Buchanan, who has been at iShaw & Iverson's for some time, left last week for Sacramento, Calif., where he will locate. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Rhead, their son Hal, and Jimmy Walton attended the silver wedding dinner at Mrs. Rhead's sister's home, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wilde, at Coalville .Sunday. The Tremonton-Garlan- d Ladies' Literary club met Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the home of Mrs. Frank Dalton. Mrs. H. L. Moore gave "Poems" by Robert Frost. Delicious refreshments were served. Mrs. W. W. Wadsworth was hostess to the ladies of her bridge club Wednesday. Favors were given to Mrs. L. S. Mann, Mrs. H. Landvatter and Mrs. S. B. Watland. A delicious luncheon was served at the end of the games. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Christensen entertained at a goose dinner Sunday evening. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Christensen, Mrs. J. A. Stahl, Claude Iverson, Evan and Miss Alta Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor and Joe Burgess went to Salt Lake City last Thursday. Sofus Skiby of Logan visited with his sister, Mrs. Albert Bessinger, and family Tuesday. and Mrs. Andy Jensen spent the week-enat Willard with Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. George Shumann of Caliente, Nev., visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Shumann, Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. Spencer Taylor entertained the members of the B. B. Bridge club at her home Saturday afternoon. Other guesst were Mrs. H. Landvatter, Mrs, G. H. Watland, Mrs. E. H. White. Mrs. Bertha Kent, sister of John Shumann, died at Los Angeles last week and was buried in Ogden Wednesday.
