Miss Virginia Dewey, who is attending the University of Utah at Salt Lake City, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Dewey, Thanksgiving, returning to school Monday. Mrs. F. C. Harwood of Salt Lake visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Lish, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. James Toulsen of Peterboro and Mrs. Myrtle Knudson were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dustman of Madsen Sunday. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Joseph entertained relatives from Peterboro, Deweyville, and Murray. Mrs. Estella .Schieb and little" daughter Betty June are guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. - Bee-to- n Fryer. Miss Eva Gardner returned from Ogden Wednesday. Miss Violet Gardner returned from Ogden Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Misses Eithel and Alta Marble were in Ogden Saturday. Sunday evening conjoint meeting was held at 7:30 in the ward meeting house. Miss Hazel Johnson of Ogden vis ited her grandmother, Mrs. John Spackman a few days last week. Mrs. M. A. Lish visited with relatives in Brigham City Friday. R. Burbank, H. A. Lish, and Miss Ireen Lish were in Ogden Saturday. A charming daughters were shopping in Brighan City Saturday. Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, a parcel shower was given in honor of Heber Bott, who leaves this month for the southern states mission. The shower was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hansen. During the evening games were enjoyed and at a late hour refreshments were served. Elder Bott received many useful gifts which will be of great use to him in the missionary field. Leslie Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. children were in Ogden Tuesday. Melvin Johnson and James P. Jensen, Jr., had their tonsils removed at the Valley hospital in Tremonton on Friday. Both are getting along fine. Miss Edna Thorsen, who is teaching school at Driggs, Idaho, spent the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sina Thorsen, in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Rose and with relachildren spent the week-entives and friends in Ogden. A few friends of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnson met' at their home to celebrate their birthday Monday evening. Both Mr. and Mrs. Johnson's we apprebirthdays are on December 3. Hoggenson of Ogden, and Delbert Holmgren, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Holmgren of this city, were united secin marriage. The young couple will make their home in this city. come Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jensen were in Brigham City Monday. Mrs. Rasmus Hansen received a call from St. Anthony, Idaho, Sunday, stating that her aged father was very ill. Mrs. Hansen left immediately for his bedside. Miss Gwen Holman, who is working in Ogden, spent Thanksgiving in this city with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holman. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Johnson and Mrs. Henry Johnson were in Brigham City .Saturday. Arnold Dallin and family have moved to town to make their home. Mr. Dallin recently acquired a home from Mrs. H. P.
