The groom is the son of Mr. k, and Mrs. J. Alvin Smith of California. The ceremony was performed by President Theron M. Ashcroft in the St. George LDS Temple. Following the ceremony, the couple were honored at a wedding breakfast at Leeds. A reception honored the couple that evening in the Beaver Second Ward Cultural Hall. Containers of pink and yellow daisies, pink and blue delphinium and white mums against a gold backdrop made the setting for the receiving Bur-ban- Dr. E.T. Henrle. Former classmates of the bride, Roger Smith and Gayle Carter sang the Junior Prom line. "Almost There," acTheme, companied by Nell Smith. Doug Neil son, brother of the bride, gave a talk. Sydney Reynolds, the groom's sister, gave a reading. Nell Smith sang, "I Will Wait For Y'ou" and "Sunrise, Sunset." Janice Neil son, sister of the bride, did a pantomine, "On I Love You." Raymond Davis sang "Temple by the River." Bishop Grant Esplin said the closing prayer. The four-tierwedding cake featured a pink fountain between the layers and was decorated with pink, blue and yellow daisies. The bride Is agraduate of Beaver High School, where she was a Junior Varisty Cheerleader and Cheerleader for two years. She was also chosen Sweetheart. She attended Brigham Young University for two years and graduated from Provo Trade Tech. in June of 1973 as aMedical Receptionist. The groom is a graduate of Burbank High School and attended The bride's gown was white nylon with a high neckline and long sleeves. An eyelet insert accented the bodice from neckline to waist. The full, floor length skirt was circled by a ruffle. Her fingveil was held by abandof er-tip eyelet which matched that on her gown. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white laced car- nations. The bride's sister, Janice, served as Maid of Honor.
