Her husband died fifteen years ngo. Her early Utah life was spent In I'rovo and In 1891 sho moved to Plensant Grove. Shci was halo and hearty up to n short tlmo ago and always Insisted on doing her own work. Sho hnd a stroke of paralysis nbout two weeks ago causing her to lose to uso of her lower limbs, and n week later she passed away. Tho children who survive uro John Wostphnl of Nevada, Mrs. Christina Hanson of Salt I.akt Jacob and Charles Westphal of this city and Mrs rtny Foster of Pocntcllo. She loaves a brother, Chnrlcs Mlckelson In Drlg-hnm Drlg-hnm City. At tho funeral which was held In thei Tabornaclo Thursday afternoon, Joseph Hilton of tho Third Ward Uls. hoprlc presided. The speakers were Bishop Jnmos H. Wnlkcr, Andrew Kuudson of I'rovo, Bishop S. L. Swen-son Swen-son nnd C. L. Wnrnick. C. B. Thomas gave, tho opening prayer and Mayor Hnrvoy tho benediction. |
