BOSOXE SPEAKS AT DEMO CLUB The Ladies Democratic club of Carbon county held Its regular monthly meeting- at the Strand Sweet shop Monday afternoon, June 26. Dinner was served to 36 members present, with Mrs. Earl Warren of Castle Gate as hostess. The Hon. Reva Beck Boaone of Salt Lake City was the principal speaker at the meeting, giving an outline of the work accomplished at the recent session of the Utah state legislature. At a request of the president, Mrs. Carl Empy, it was decided to adjourn during the summer season, with the next meeting scheduled to bo held the last Monday in September. Nine tables of contract and auction bridge were enjoyed at the close of the business session. Mrs. George Miller of Price was awarded first prize for high score in the contract play, with Mrs. M.
