The vote was 15 more than the required two thirds necessary to pass. Representative Loofbourow of Utah voted for submission of repeal, while Representative Colton voted against It. The bill was promptly engrossed and signed by Vice President Curtis, after which it was transmitted to Secretary of State Stimson. The secretary, in turn, already has notified the various state legislatures by air mail. It will be necessary for the drys to hold only 13 state legislatures in line in order to prevent repeal of the eighteenth amendment.
