Crush some tablets of genuine Bayer Aspirin in some water, and gargle at once. This gives you instant relief, and reduces danger from infection. One good gargle and you can feel safe. If all soreness is not gone promptly, repeat. There's usually a cold with the sore throat, so before gargling take two tablets to throw off your cold, headache, stiffness or other cold symptoms. Bayer Aspirin relieves neuralgia, neuritis, too. You may use it freely, it does not hurt the heart. Dr. W. T. Elliott was a business visitor in Salt Lake this week. CARD OF THANKS BUY AT BUY :Ci Two vocational classes in Carbon county high school which may not have come to attention of the general public for their true value are those of woodworking and auto mechanics. The writer had the pleasure last week of spending a few interesting minutes in each of these classrooms and observed students at work on projects fitting them for after-scholife in a most able manner. In the manual training department, under the tutorship of E. M.. Williams, pupils are studying the practical theories of draughtsmanship and woodwork. Blueprints are carefully prepared by the students and then are proven by the actual construction of miniature homes and other buildings erected to scale. Beautiful cedar chests, china closets and other useful pieces of furniture also are being constructed. Auto Mechanics In the auto mechanics department, under the supervision of E. C. Jeppson, students are taught automobile repair work, tool fabrication and given a general working knowledge of mechanics that will stand them in good stead in future life. Messrs. Williams and Jeppson are two exceptionally competent instructors and a valuable adjunct to the teaching personnel of Carbon county high school. Those statesmen down at Washington who are worrying about what the percentage of alcohol should be in beer, might take a hint from the Washington naval pertreaty and adopt the centage.
