Ccunty Fair was given k a following the discovery that the plot of ground leased by the city of Price to the county for fair purposes is divided by a street. This discovery was made at the meeting of t.ht bor.rd on Wednesday, when the members visited the scene of the-- proposed fa'r grounds m company with county surveyor Carl Nyman. At the request of the board, Mr. Nyman marked off theground specified in the lease, and the board considered what steps to take to overcome the difficulty. On the suggestion of a committee from the City council, consisting of G. J. Reeves and A. TV. Horsley, it was decided to have the county surveyor plat a suitable piece of ground further east of the first site, and ask the city council and county com misisoners to accept that ground for fair purposes in lieu of the plot cut by the street. TUESDAY An nnidontiifed man was instantly killed Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock when westbound train No. 137 ran over him and severed his head from his body, The accident o. curred at Maxwell some fcur miles south of this' city. The men. riding in the caboose saw him on the track as they passefl along, and signaled for the train to stop. He was taken to Price.
