Ostler, Reporter) (Mrs. Irene Olson, Reporter) Mrs. Irene Olson, The Sentinel correspondent, is ill at her home this week. We miss her "newsy" items. Mrs. Edna G. Hogan attended a board meeting of the directors of the county fair at the city hall in Murray Monday evening. Mrs. Hogan recently attended a regional meeting of national farm bureau officers and leaders in Salt Lake City at the Newhouse hotel. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Peterson of Salt Lake City and daughter, Miss Dorothy Peterson, who is a nurse at a Denver, Colorado, hospital were dinner guests Sunday at the borne of Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Nevin Crab of Lehi and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson of Pleasant Grove spent Sunday at the I. A. Peterson home. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lancaster <Of Copperton visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Peterson Sunday. Mrs. George Bywater and son, Willis, of Gardnerville, Nevada, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Bywater's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Goodrich. Bonnie Bateman, 11-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Bateman, was brought home from a Salt Lake City hospital this week where she underwent an operation for appendicitis. She is reported to be getting along nicely. EAST MIDVALE (Mrs. Rachel Forbush, Reporter) Mr. and Mrs. D. W. McDonald were guests Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Rock, of Salt Lake. Mr. Rock left in the evening f.or New York for a short stay. George {Skipper) Bekker, small son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bekker Sr., was removed to his home Saturday after an operation last week for ruptured appendix. He is reported recovering nicely. Mrs. C. T. Smith of Salt Lake and Mrs. John S. Sharp were dinner guests Thursday of Mrs. Leo J. Glover. On Monday Mrs. Clarence T. Smith and little daughter, Gwen, Mrs. Sophrona Bateman is still improving and will soon be able to be up and around. She has many who call {o see her each day.
