Jy Gould arrived the and left in Ogden Monday during evening for Pocateilo aiid ButU. Every on who saw him noted hia thin and careworn sppesra&oe. The special train that brought him her eonsisted of hia private car Atalanta, General Manager CT&rk'i private car 10G, and a commissary car. The party consists of Jay Gould, hia two younger sons, Howard and Frank, and hia daughters Helen and Annie; 8. 1L II. Clark, Mrs. Clark, lioxie Clark, a boo of & IL IL Clark, who haa just coma from Princeton, Dr. Mann, Mr. Gould's physician; Mr. Boyd of New York, Ed Dickinson, assistant general manager of the Union Pacific. TWO P BETTY DAUGHTERS. After lunch Mr. Gould donned a seersucker coat, lighted a cigar and lounged around inside his car until his lunch had settled, and then he went out with his four children for a short walk about town. The Misses Gould are both young, apparently 11 and 16 respectively. They are handsome girls, and their taste in the way of dress seem to be like their father's, as their costumes were plain, and no ostentation of costliness. All the children are rather slender and strongly resemble their father, especially in their expression of features serious and meditative. They returned from their walk a few seconds before the train left, and a reporter approached him as he was about to board the train. He seemed even lees inclined to talk than usual, and appeared to wish to avoid speaking of hia health. When asked about it he replied in a rather annoyed manner. "My health is good enough." "Do you intend spending the summer out west?" "I don't know. I will go north from here and then I may go back to Colorado. I have nothing I care to talk about, as I have expressed my views on about all the railroad questions. I am etill in favor of maintaining the Western Traffic Association, and still think it is a good thing. This trip is principally one of pleasure. I did not come out when Mr. Clark went over the line the last time, so I will look it over while I am out" Ten "rustlers" wanted at the Daily Commercial office. Call at once. Kiesel.
