Corey: From a business standpoint I consider the Methodist University a beneficial institution to every citizen of Ugden. Jacob S. Boreman: The University is a necessity in this country, and its location at Ogden will, in time, be of great local advantage. Of course every Ugden man favors it. M. A. Short: The building of this University at this time of financial depression will be further evidence that Ogden will not and cannot be checked in its onward march of progress. Archie Bigelow, cashier of Ogden State Bank: Let's all go to the Ladies' Fair for the benefit of the University. Theo. Robison: The money will all be accounted for and economy will govern in the management; bring in the money. J. Wesley Hill: I leave tomorrow for Philadelphia to put Small on trial. E. F. Bratz: Every citizen should aid in the erection of the Utah University and he will get good returns. Brainard, Robin 5on & Co.: The U.ah University should be finished at once. It should be opened this fall. Utah needs ju9t such a school, and it would receive liberal patronage from the first. Ogden the railroad center of Utah is the proper place for such an educational institution, and the building site cannot be excelled iu Utah. E. Farr: The new work on building the M. E. University is certainly beneficial and a credit to this city, and ought not to stop until completed. C. W. Cardwell: "If it were well done when it is done it were well were it were quickly done." T.
