W. Totflinson and C. L. Scroggs of Sioux City, have started west with the expectation of going into the mining business somewhere in Utah. They will locate at Ogden or Salt Lake City. The result of the recent railway assessment hearing before the state executive council at Sioux City was the subject of much discussion in railroad circles yesterday as to its probable bearing upon some of the roads centering here. The remains of the aged gentleman who died upon a Southern Pacific railroad train yesterday morning are lying in the undertaker's rooms awaiting the result of a most singular process of identification.
