In order allow time for guests to assemble at the hostess' home, Sherri was appointed to keep Mary occupied. They went for a ride to check out a fire that was burning south of town. Sherri, who was trying to time their arrival perfectly, turned around and headed back to town only to find that the front end of her car had that certain dreaded wobble that can only be attributed to a flat tire. By the time Sherri and the unsuspecting Mary had walked through a field to get to Craig Davie's house and the nearest phone, it was ten minutes to seven. Even with prompt response from Sherri's husband, Mike, it was twenty past seven when they got back to Milford. "It was so late that I suggested that we just go out for dinner instead of going to BPW, but Sherri insisted. Really, I didn't have a clue until I saw my mother sitting there," Mary said. these r y Ills Above: MHS Cheerleaders v MHS Cheerleader Right: Sandy Hardy with her niece, Josie Gray, one of the younger Tiger fans.
