Show JHilfur&Sfoiritiir SEPTEMBER 15, 1995 some golfers were loosing there golf balls in the weeds and were not able to find them, so they took it upon themselves to burn the weeds on their own, this resulted in the near fire of there club house, and started some power poles & trees on fire. " The good thing that came out of all this was the little boy we were looking for was found safe, there was no damage caused by fire, but it cost the tax payers a few thousand dollars because of some equipment damage that happened because of a few dollars in lost golf balls in LETTER TO THE EDITOR We the members of the MILFORD FIRE DEPT. would like the public to read our letter, to the LOW LIFE TRAMP OR TRAMPS which ever the case may be, just how happy we are that you set the Milford Golf Course on fire, the night of 082995 at approximately 8:45pm. We were in the middle of a search, for a 3 year old boy, who was lost five miles South of Milford, in the area of the Beaver River. There were a lot of upset and worried Rescue the weeds, that's not the people, that the boy may have FIRE DEPARTMENTS fallen into the river. While we in the first place were so busy doing this type problem the ones loosing there of work, YOU, not thinking (maybe balls in the weeds should help we had nothing to do, had the the course manager cut the unselfish guts to set a fire in the weeds, or if you have nothing the brush between more to do with your time fairways, so that you might than cause problems for find your GOLF BALLS the course manager others, when you can't keep them on the fairway where they belong. Not only just thinking of your BALLS that cost around $5.00, you were so inconsiderate to the family north of the fire who have just built a $100,000. home. We think it is sad, when some people have nothing more to do but to cause problems for others. We had been asked to do a control bum at the golf course, but with the fire danger so high this year, we 2-- would love to have you volunteer YOUR time to some worthy cause, WE DO, RISKING OUR LIVES TO SAVE YOURS. ; PAGE 6 Handtfs Showcase of lililot& Properties LAND: 160 Acres NW of Milford.
