We need three hundred recipes to compile a cook book to be published during the Centennial Fair in 1996. We would like to get at least one recipe from everyone in the county. Coming June 23rd He was born on June 27, 1914 to Walter Jesse & Iolar Lassiter Young. He married Virginia Michaelsen on June 27, 1939 in St. George, Utah. He moved to Milford in 1940. Roy, through civic leadership, undying and duty graceful dignity, was a true pioneering spirit in Utah for more than 53 years. His life was a much, celebrated and enjoyed event of happiness, compassion, understanding and love. His examples will be carried on through his family and friends from this day forward. Though dutiful honor and hard work, Roy served his city, county, and state through city mayorships, council memberships, the Utah Wildlife Federation, the Utah State Board of Corrections, the Southwest Human Services and many more. . Roy was always very active in his "passions" - that being wildlife. He was involved ; with many, many projects of the Utah Wildlife Federation, Beaver County Wildlife Federation, Milford Wildlife Protective Association and the Utah Wildlife Board. During his tenure with the wildlife board he made a personal goal to visit every one of the DWR's fish hatcheries and wildlife management areas - which he did. In 70's he helped start the first Ducks Unlimited Chapter in Beaver County. He has been a sponsor member ever since, and was recognized by ; Utah D.U. in 1990 for his dedication and contributions to waterfowl " conservation. Roy was a Brakeman and Conductor for Union Pacific Railroad from 1942 to 1978. He is survived his wife Virginia of Milford, Daughters, Iola E. and Mack Whittaker of Lake Charles, LA., Laurel and Paul Woodbury of Sacramento, CA., and Thea Kay and John "Forget Paris" (K13) and "Crimson Tide" (R) Open Daily 7 p.m. Friday & Saturday 7 and 9 p.m. " Closed Tuesdays Hotline: 31 54 5S North Main, Beaver IF 2!
