This year, in an effort to more participation in even promote the process, the Council will be holding a series of seven such meetings around the state during the months of May and June. Each meeting will involve UACIR members, staff, legislators, and representatives of the Governor's Office, in an effort to get feedback from local officials on mandates that are particularly difficult or expensive to meet and administer. The council is charged with the studying and improving relationships between and among local, state and federal governments in Utah.
