Show jSzmn County Manltav MAY 15. 1997 MILFORD VALLEY Obituaries Colleen Cox Lee Beaver: Colleen Cox Lee, 66, passed away May 8, 1997 in St. George, Utah. She was born January 3, 1931 in Beaver, Utah to Theodore and Vona Rosetta Easton Cox. She married Robert Hyrum Lee September 17, 1949 in the St. George LDS Temple. Colleen was very active in the community and the church. She served as a Pink Lady at the Beaver Valley Hospital for 10 years, serving as president for 7 She was a J.C. Jayne years. president and was active in the PTA. She was an avid reader and a great cook. She served as the Stake Relief Society President for 10 years and a Cove Fort Missionary for 4 seasons. She served in numerous positions in Relief Society, Primary and MIA throughout her life. Her greatest love w as for her grandchildren and her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and having all of her family around her. She is survived by her husband Robert of Beaver, children, Dcbra (Reed) Carter of Beaver; Michael (Vicki) Lee of Parawan; Bruce (Jolcne) Lee of Enoch; Steven H. Lee of Provo and Marianne (Joseph) White of 15 Grandchildren. Beaver. Brother, James Dale (Durrcl) Cox of Cedar City. Sisters, Lena Rae (Lee) Rogers of Beaver, and Shirley VanGervan of Orem. Funeral services were held on Monday, may 12, 1997 at 2:00 P.M. in the Beaver LDS 6th Ward Interment was in the Chapel. UNAPPROVED MINUTES MILFORD VALLEY CLINIC April 30. 1997 The regular meeting for the Clinic was called to order by Chairperson Loretta Forraan at 7:35 p.m. Those attending were Board Members Loretta form an. Janice Pryor, Rhoda Browner, Mary Sower, Jerry Mayer, Dwight Potter, Larry Barnes, Tammy Pearson, Administrator John Gledhill, Controller Doug Garrett, Service District member Howard Pryor and Board Secretary Janiece Swanson. A motion was made by Larry Barnes and seconded by Jerry Mayer that we go into Executive Session at 7:35 p.m. All in favor. Larry Barnes made a motion that we move from Executive Session at 8:05 p.m. The meeting for the Clinic continued at 8:05 p.m. Jerry Mayer made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes in our meetings. The motion was seconded hy Janice Prvor. All in favor. FINANCIAL REPORT The ISnancial report was presented by Doug Garrett. Motion to accept the financial report by Larry Barnes, seconded by Janice Pryor. All in favor. RETORTS Janice Pry or reported that the Minersville Clinic could use Call Forwarding to help keep in contact with patients in Minersville or Beaver that need to see a doctor in the Minersville Clinic. John will check with South Central Telephone to see about getting it. NEW BUSINESS Patient load for Dr. Spaulding has been the same. Everyone is glad to have him back. The doctors would like to tape their patient notes and have them typed. We need someone to transcribe the notes daily and file them in the charts for the next day. John will see if someone on the business staff can take over the responsibility to do this. Councilman Mark Dotson seconded the motion, all were in favor. Olpin Mortuary Vera Alice Wadsworth, of Milford, passed away May 7, 1997 at the age of 86. She was born September 18, 1910 in Platteville, Colorado to John Espcy & Edith Oakley Brown. She married John Beitz in 1932 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1978. She married Clifford Wadsworth in 1976 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1990. Vera was an avid reader and enjoyed saving recipes. She loved to quilt and made quilts for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church of Milford. She was a Red Cross Volunteer for many years. She belonged to the Eastern Star and was a member of the Lady Trainmen. She is survived by her children, Doris & Gary Marshall of No. Platte, Donna & Nebraska, Ray Mclntyre of Helendale, CA., Jeannctte & Wayne Evans of Brighton, Colorado and Jackie Beitz of Cedar City. Stepchildren, Louse Holmes of Cedar of City, Clyde Wadsworth Overton, NV., Ruby Thompson Grant of Redding, CA., Wadsworth of Milford, Mel Wadsworth of St George, Harold Beit, of Littleton, CO., and Harlan Beitz of Sun City AZ. 18 and Grand Great 34 Grandchildren. Sister Mabel Can ell of Colorado Springs, CO. Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, 1997 in the Community United Methodist Church in Milford.
