Ross Marshall made a motion to nuke Ken I.ofland the new chairman. Jolyn seconded the motion. Motion ; (k?W::":-- . Emily Fay Therning Dotson will be celebrating her 80th birthday. She w as born February 24. 1917, in Holiday, Utah, the daughter of John K. And Mabel Thcrning. She lived in Bluebell, Utah, where her family ran the general store and post office. Emily served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She married Ruben W. Dotson on September 16. 1942. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Minersvillc where she worked as a clerk and postmaster at the Mincrsvillc Post Office. She retired in 1979. She is the mother of six children. Nick, Jeanne, Beth, Faye, April and Jolyn. She has 23 grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren, w ith four more expected this year. Emily is very active in the LDS church. She is currently serving as a visiting teacher, extraction worker, and ordinance worker. She will be celebrating her birthday on February 15th at the LDS Church in Mincrsvillc. Her family would like to wish her a very happy birthday. unanimously. AMEND ZONING ORDNANCE discussed water They adding processing or processing plints to the definition of Agriculture Industry or Business. John made a motion to amend the zoning ordinance to add w ater processing or processing plants to the definition. Ross seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. UndZONING ORDINANCE: iscussed changing the wording to allow the Zoning Administrator to approve conditional use permits in certain instances. Alice made a motion to change the wording as Leo John seconded the suggested. motion. Motion passed unanimous!)'. PAZ BOARD MEMBER APPLICA TIONS. Johyn would like to be reappointed to another term on the board and we received an application from Jeff Kesler to be appointed to the board. Alice made a motion to recommend that the County Commission reappoint Johyn and appoint Jeff Kesler to serve as members of the Planning and Zoning Board. Scott seconded the motion. We have had so many cards and phoue calls, and everyone has asked Denise how I am getting along. 1 have also had a lot of friends from many other states and other parts of Utah that have been so concerned and sympathetic. The blessings of the good Lord and everyone's prayers are the only things that saved my life, and know that my time had not come. 1 am so thankful that I have been spared so that I can raise my young family. I was in intensive care for 22 days, l or 2 days they had a tiling in my throat and I couldn't talk. That was the hardest part of all. and I couldn't eat or drink during this time. 1 had 9 broken ribs and 4 cracked vertebras in my neck. I have to wear a stiff neck collar for this until they are healed, so that I won't get paralyzed. I'm not supposed to lift anything or ride a horse for 90 days. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT: Craig Pfingsten and Brad Briant were there to discuss Twin Mountain Rock's CU P. It was issued in November of 1995 but there are some changes, they will be using a railroad spur and not County roads. They will cross one county road. They will maintain their road and talk to the County road supervisor and have the appropriate signs on it. and they will maintain that portion of the County road that they will be crossing, as per agreement with the Beaver County Commission.
