The meeting was called to order at 10:00 A.M. by Norman L. Lamb. 2. The first order of business was reorganization of the Board and it w as moved by Pat Rimpau that Norman I.. I.arub be nominated as Board Richard L. DeArmitt President. moved, that Robert I.. Strong be nominated as President of the Board. Motion was seconded by (iary T. Brown. Upon a call for a vote for the two candidates there were two votes for Norman I.. I.atb. and three votes for Robert I.. Strong. Robert L. elected Board was President Strong for a two year term. Robert L. Strong moved that Norman I . I amb be nominated as Motion was seconded by (iary T. Brown. At this point it was moved by Pat Rimpau. seconded by Richard L DeArmitt. and unanimously passed that the rules be suspended and that Norman I.. Lamb be elected by acclamation to a two year term as of the Board. It was then moved by Robert L. The Kansas City-triwas the highlight of the year, and each student reported that it w as very Good report by Mr. educational. Marchant and the students. 15. Beaver High School Alternative School Proposal was presented to the board by Assistant Principal. Tracy Davis. Much discussion was held on the project and it was moved by Pat Rimpau. seconded by Richard L. DeArmitt, and unanimously passed that the program be approved for at Beaver High School grades and Milford High School. Identified Milford High students will attend Beaver High School. Scores are down in some areas and 'need to be corrected. 9. It was moved by Richard L. DeArmitt. seconded by Pat Rimpau. and unanimously passed that Norman L. Lamb represent the Board on the Career Ladder Committee. 10. It w as moved by Gary T. Brown, seconded by Richard L. DeArmitt and unanimously passed mat Michael Barnes be approved as volunteer assistant 'ooys basketball coach at Milford High School. 1 1. Elevator maintenance contracts discussed and it was moved by Pat Rimpau. seconded by Richard L. DeArmitt, and unanimously passed that limited contract for elevator maintenance be approved . It was moved by Norman L. Lamb, seconded by Richard L. DeAmiitt; and unanimously approved that a similar contract for the fire alarm system be tabled at this time. 12. It was moved by Pat Rimpau. seconded by Norman L. Lamb, and unanimously passed that the Board go into closed session at 1 :05 P.M. and District Personnel, Pupil. .
