December, was a hectic time for all of us F ach weekend at the Community Drawing we sold coffee, hot chocolate, sweet rolls, chili, and more On the last weekend we had a drawing for our girl and boy gifts The proceeds of this drawing, as well as other fundraisers, go towards our philanthropic projects as they arise This year we helped with Christmas for M children and 19 Beaver: Rutli Blackncr Bradshaw. 76 passed away January 14. IW7 al the Beaver Valley Hospital She was born December 2. 120 in Milford. Utah to Glenn Miller & Annie Lcola Kcsler Blackncr. She married Ra Bradshaw on October 4. 1939 in Grccmillc. Utah and their marriage w as later solcmicd in the St. George LDS Temple on December I. 1949. She was an active member or the LDS Church where she served in the Stake Primary Presidency , the Ward Relief Society and Primary Presidencies. She was very musically inclined, playing the. piano and singing in her ward. She worked in the Si. George Temple Tor five years. She was a loving, kind. & devoted wife. Mother & Grandmother. She is survived by her husband. Ray of Beaver, children. Sherman & Sharon of Beaver. Janycc & Sherman Myers of Milford. Joyce & Mcmll Moody of Murray. Donald Glenn & Sandra of Gooding Idaho. Clifford Lafcy & Sy lvia Ann of Kimbcrly. Idaho and Hyrum Paul & Sylwa of Fort Smith, Arkansas. 29 Grand. 32 Great Grandchildren. Brother. Kay Eugene & Betty Blackncr of Salt Lake City She was preceded in death by a Granddaughter. Megan & a Grandson Jcfforv Myers and one Brother Mel v in Blackncr Funeral sen tecs were held on Friday . January 17, 997 in the Beaver LDS 5th Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of the Olpm Mortuary JANUARY 23, 1997 families. For our Christmas social we rewarded ourselves a little with a delicious Prime Rib dinner Toni Rollins generously provided her home for the party, and with the help of het social committee, prepared the meal After dinner we opened our gifts from our secret sisters and discovered their identity At the end of the evening, we drew names for a secret sister for the upcoming new year.
