Gen. Norris B. Harbold The celebration of the day we call Christmas is close upon us Accompanying its approach, however, is the hot breath of WAR. The two are not compatible. The one celebrates the birth not only of Christ, but of a Faith in Life; in what is Good, what is Right and what is Just. The other is typified by Death, by Evil, and by Injustice. Perhaps we should, each and every one of us, celebrate this Christmas by our own rebirth of Faith; Faith in a way of life that permits ' and encourage Goodness, Rightness and Justice. In the face of the ideals opposing us, this rebirth cannot be a placid mental resolution. It must be 'strong, it must be militant, it must take action. It means a rebirth of the faith in ourselves to meet the trials and terrors that may be heaped upon us. It means the faith in neighbors who will stand beside you in whatever perils may come. It means the faith in our leaders, who only with our support, can guide and direct us. It means faith in our God. Let us celebrate this Christmas by a rebirth of Faith which we show and by Action. Only thus can we hope to conquer in Resolution by the war that is upon us, and preserve the Christmases to come. , "V V T V Airmen Receive Clerical Training Some 32 airmen who reported at Hill Air Force base to finish their basic training are now enrolled in clerical training schools on! the base, according to Mrs. Pat Roach of the Military Training Section.
