Jack Carty led the attack with a fine 589 series highlighted by a 228 single game. Second place Thunderbolts repulsed the Skymasters three to one to remain a threat to the Gremlins' fond hope of first half honors. Four teams, Superforts, Air Installations, Machine Shop 5 and the Black Widows, are tied for third place as the first half dwindles to merely three more Monday night clashes. Bill Smith, manager of the Paramount ' Bowl and one of Ogden's finest bowlers informed your cor- league can have their old starting time of 6 p. m. back any time the league desires. This should meet with approval. The majority of the bowlers feel that 9:30 p. m. is far too late to start a sport as strenuous as bowling.
