Contreras, junior machinist, turret lathe unit, metal manufac- ture and repair branch. Contreras was discharged from the army last April in Hobbs, New Mexico, where he was a technical clerk in the flying school there. Immediately after this, he came to Hill Field beginning as a mechanic helper in the turret lathe unit. He is living with his wife at Sahara Trailer Village. Two bothers are in the armed forces. One was recently wounded in Italy as a soldier in the American Fifth army. The other is an aircraft mechanic in Sicily. Contreras comes from Genoa, Colorado. Major Jess C.
