The report "Anaylsis of Person nel and Work Load," is being accomplished in all departments in ASC control depots in order for ASC manpower officials to determine work loads in each depot and to effect more accurate manpower quotas. Lt. Col. Joseph W. Vincent of the war department's manpower board, here with Lt Col. H. A. Mayforth, representing the ASC di rector of manpower, said the survey was progressing as satisfac torily at this installation as at any he had visited. He and Col. Mayforth have been here intermittently during the past two weeks to assist local manpower officials in the conducting of the survey. Col. Vincent was especially pleased with the exceptionally fine cooperation shown by supervisors and foremen throughout the field. He said that without this the analy sis could never have been done suc- Col. Vincent planned to leave on Monday of this week. Col. Mayforth will remain until about February 1. The girls are attached to the Medical Detachment for rations and administration, but their quarters are in the WAC barracks across the tracks from the Medics. Re cently one of the girls, Pvt Ida feopies, nas been assigned to ward five to work with patients, becoming the first WAC to be so em ployed at Hill Field. The other four girls are Corporal Linda Campbell. Pvt Katherine Hammons, Pvt Shirley Mergen and Pvt Alice Nix on.
