There are a large number of men In this city that have complied with this requirement that they may bfcome citizens of this country. They know what a list of questions they had to answer when they were declaring their intentions to a citizen. There are also many of the descendants of Utah pioneers living In our city. The vast majority of these pioneers are or foreign birth, therefore they are listed In the records of this department at the capital and all the genealogy which they filled when getting their citizenship papers is available to their descendants. It is a regrettable fact that the history and genealosy of many of these men is little known to their descendants. This is du in part to the fact that some of these men kept no records of themselves and their descendants have not put forth that effort which must be put forth to search out he records oi theses noble men and women that their history may be known. Some do not go br?vond the records of the old family bible and think that is all the records they have. , .mrmrfHmjii 7WF PROJECTION 5 fcv- At frk 'Jl vf standard rate t!Ly a rfffrt of ninety feet MACHINE UflP fiivs ..WW - SluhvJ Jb Sr THE MINUTES 17 NL trJrr f'i "7sI OF PLAY- - ; I You men who have received your papers know that you had to Vive the government all the information they desired or you could not become a citizen; you filled out the blanks, procured witnesses and had them fill out blanks proving that your testimony was true, and all this was witnessed by the clerk of tne county.
