Show DEVOTED TO THE BEST INTERESTS OF CENTRAL UTAH The Times, Vol. 20, No. Willi Everything Is In readiness for the tenth anual Wheat Day celebration which will be held Saturday. July 1th. The trip over the Levan ridge has been eliminated this year, and those who go out to the experiment station will assemble at the county court house at 10:30 a. m. and will leave for the ridge at 11 oclock. There will be a short meeting at the station where talks will be made by visitors front the Utah State Agricultural College, and this will be followed by a tour of the experiment farm, where valuable information will be given to the local and visiting farmers. Following the tour of the plats, the crowd will assemble at the station where sandwiches and root beer will be served to the guests. In the evening, a meeting will be held at the scout grounds behind Mount Nebo, where talks will be given by the visitors from the college. Superintendent Bracken Is expecting President E. G. Peterson, Dr. George Stewart, agronomist, P. V. Cardon, director of the experiment stations, and other leading educators to be in attendance on Wheat Day. City Meat Market Sold This Week . The City Meat Market was taken over Tuesday- - morning by "John ' O. Hall and H. C. Crane. J. H. Lunt and Sons, have been operating the business for the past fifteen months but due to their farming interests demanding a large part of their time, they disposed of the meat and grocery store. 1, The new owners have had considerable business experience, Mr. Hall having been local manager for Co. for the the past six years and H. C. Crane operated a butcher shop in Nephl for five years, which should qualify them for the management of then-nestore. Thornton jl Youth Recovering From Accident Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Jarrett and family were visiting with relatives in American Fork on the Fourth of July. Mr. and Mrs, Clifford Mortison baby of Spanish Fork spent the week end with Mrs. Mortison's mother, Mrs. Katie Worthlngton. and Ernest Jenkins Bowers, 16, was knocked from his bicycle last Friday afternoon, and sustained a scalp wound, and badly cut ear. He was given emergency treatment by a local physician and later taken to a Salt Lake hospital, and Is reported to be getting along fine. The driver of the car stopped and assisted in putting the injured boy into a passing automobile, and stated that he would, follow them to the doctor's office, but when the party reached the dictor's office, the man that hit the boy had disappeared, and not even the number of the car he was, driving was secured by anyone.
