The Nephi team played exceptionally fast ball the first day, but the balance of the tournament they seemed to be in too fast a company, and did not show up quite so well. Although the Nephi boys were defeated in two games out of three played, they deserve a lot of credit to be able to place fourth place in an amateur baseball tournament, as the teams in Salt Lake City are made up of the fastest players In a city of approximately 150,000 pedple, while our team comes from a small city of less than three thousand Another thing enters into people. the playing of baseball. In Salt Lake the players are not working as hard as our boys are, and they have the advantage of receiving their training under a good well trained s baseball coach.
