Many of the older generation today will hark back to the "good old days" when they were young. "Them wuz the days when people had a good time," they will say. The fact is that people of similar age today are probably having just as good a time as ever they had, and maybe better. The only things is that age has encroached upon them and they do not realize it. The world is still running along, and human nature is still asserting itself in much the same way that it has always done. If more of the older group would participate in the play activities of the group they would forestall the encroachment of age. They would develop more confidence in the young people, who are so often looked upon as being particularly wayward. Nothing can weld a community together like playing together. It is surprising how much fun all ages can have together. It is foolish to think that the young people cannot mix with i.he older people.
