Camp was broken up Monday, and a march made to Salt Lake City, tha boys spending Monday night in camp just outside of Salt Lake, and on Tuesday the organization paraded the streets of the city, after which they loaded their equipment for their home stations. OLD FOLKS ENJOY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL The annual strawberry festival was held last Friday in the Tabernacle, when one hundred and twenty-fiv- e of Nephi aged people strawberries, orangeade, ice cream and cake, and listened to an excellent program. Misses Karla and Maurine Vlckers; reading, Jliss Blanche Burton. old-folk- s' en-Joy- NEPHI ENTERS "CITY BEAUTIFUL" CAMPAIGN Nephi has been taken as one of the six cities in Utah, to be under the supervision of Emil Hansen, specialist in charge of landscape gardening, with the Extension ision of the Utah Agricultural lege, in the "City Beautiful" Divcol- cam- paign. The campaign calls for the of public and private grounds, the removing of dead trees and the planting of proper trees, the grading of streets, the painting of homes and fences, and a general program for the beautification of our . city. There will be a committee of about a hundred members, three to be appointed from each of the civic and social clubs, and fifteen to be ap pointed from each of the wards, and fifteen to be appointed from the Stake. This committee will be Instructed by Mr. Hansen, and they In turn will instruct the people in their section of the city. At the meeting held this week, Dennis Wood was selected as chairman of the "City Beautiful" campaign committee, and a secretary will be appointed later, together with the entire committee which will have charge of the affair. . The first part of the project will be the removal of all of the dead trees within the city. The plans as outlined by M r. Hansen calls for a program, which at the end of that time Nephi thould he in the front rank as a beautiful city.
