"Thomas Pass was born on June 15th. 1812, at Brama, Cheshire England, he was the son of James Pass and Bettie Rowlinson; Mary Ann Pass his wife was born January 8th. 1812 at Charles, England and was the daughter of James Warmby and Elizabeth Kirk. Grandfather and Grandmother Pass were married in 1837 and were baptized in 1840 by Elder James Hawkins and confirmed members of the Church by Elder John Banks. They remained in England for 23 years after loining the church, before coming to this country during all of which time their home was thrown open to the Elders and their services devoted to the work of the Lord. seven girls and one boy were b'orn to the Pass union. "On June 15th, 1912, a reunion of the Pass family was eld at the North ward meeting house. The oc casion being the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Thomas Pass.
