ON r HONOR TEAM rn baskdivision and et ball honor team by acclamation according to an crtiele in Thursday's issue of the Desert News, and the following article was clipped from all-sta- te this issue: "Due to the fact that he has played the most consistent basketball shown in the collegiate league this year. Glen Worthington, artist is given the cenAggie tip-oThe ter position by acclamation. former Nephi hlg'i school athlete has wonderful speed, is a fine jumper and has proved strong enough to play down practically every center he has met. Worthington has done some fine defensive work, too, holding such mighty basketeers as Romney of Young "U" and Hartwig of Montana State collejre to an absolute minimum of goals. The big Aggie's steady accurate parsing, his strong roving defense and his astonishing field shooting class him with the really great Utah centers. Like Boberg, Worthington had no "off nights" and in that respect is the only center in the division to come through with no less than three field goals in any contest. His average was approximately seven." The Salt Lake Telegram has the following to say in regard to the playing of Worthington: "Although he was playing his first year of college ball, Glen Worthington. Aggie center, was the choice over Golden Romney of the Y, Rudy Lyons of Utah and Adolph Hartwig of Montana,, for the pivot position. 'A good jumper wonderful at following up shots and a good defense man, are the good qualities of Worth . ington." . ff The committee in charge consists of Lawrence Blackett, J. W. Boud, and Dr. N. J. Rees, and they report that everything possible is being done to make It a success and they assure anyone from Nephi, who will come to Salt Lake on that day, a great deal of peasure and a good time.
